Comprehensive Physical Exams

We perform comprehensive physical examinations on our patients regardless if it is a wellness or sick pet exam. We recommend routine examinations yearly on all pets under 7 years of age and every six months for pets over 7 years of age. It is important to detect potential problems early and ideally prevent problems before they cause illness and lead to life-threatening disease.

Puppy & Kitten Care

Your puppy or kitten visit will include a complete physical examination. We will look for any signs of illness and make sure that your new pet is in good health. We will discuss any questions you may have including; nutrition, vaccinations, training, grooming, parasite protection, dental care, spaying and neutering. We look forward to meeting your new addition and working as a team with you to ensure the best possible quality of life.

Senior Care

Thanks to advances in veterinary medicine the life expectancy for our pets have increased. Unfortunately, along with the increase in life span comes an increase in age related diseases. Pets are considered seniors around 7 years of age. Studies indicate that a certain percentage of dogs and cats over 7 years of age can have serious undetected medical conditions. Many conditions begin with subtle signs that may not be noticed until the problem has become serious. Early detection can help maintain the quality of life of your aging pet. We recommend routine examinations and bloodwork every six months on pets seven years and older. This is important for early detection and treatment of disease before the problem worsens.
